The Twingo is an A-segment car that has been manufactured by the French manufacturer Renault. It is a four-seater, three-door hatchback with a four-cylinder engine at the front of the transverse line and driven by the front wheels. It was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1992. Several groups of designers worked on the project, but it is emphasized that the final design was influenced by the Beskid 106, an economic hatchback prototype developed in Poland by the Automotive Research and Development Center BOSMAL (Automotive Research and Development Center) in 1982-1986. ., to replace the aging Fiat 126.
