Catalysts with code: 9-0602940 are used for BMW brand. The liner weight of these catalysts is a little over a kilogram. The length of the hull, in turn, is 55 cm.

These catalysts consist of two parts – a wider one with an insert and a narrower outlet. Ceramic catalytic converters with the number 9-0602940: F01 V8 750i N63 were used in the BMW 7 Series.

Today we will take a look at the BMW F01, which is the fifth generation of the 7 Series, in other words, the exemplary limousine of the German production group. It is a luxury sedan that was produced from 2008 to 2016.

The F01 was the first BMW vehicle to feature a hybrid gearbox and a V12 turbocharged engine. It was the second 7 Series to be available with a turbocharged petrol engine (the first of which is the E23 745i from South Africa) and an all-wheel drive gearbox (xDrive). The axle base has been increased by 8 cm compared to the previous 7 series.

The car was designed by Canadian car designer Karim Habib. The style has been retained by some elements of the predecessor. The headlights were similar to the E65 7 series, but were smaller and more elegant. The car had a wider and larger front exterior grille that provided a more aggressive look. The F01 7 series was larger than its predecessor. Added 1.7-inch (43.2 mm) overall length and 3.2-inch (81.3 mm) wheelbase, while increasing the car’s weight and making it bigger.

The F01 was the first BMW vehicle to be powered by rear wheels (integrated active steering), all-wheel drive (xDrive), eight-speed automatic transmission, pedestrian detection with night vision, blind spot monitoring, rear seats massage function and radar speed control system that can stop the car completely and accelerate from the ground (Active Cruise Control with stop and go).

Side chambers are mounted on the front bumper to allow the driver to maneuver in tight spaces. By connecting these cameras to the front and rear cameras, the F01 can display a virtual car graph to help park the car.
